Nose print anyone?
Izhe from another angle taken by Auntie Chrystal. Our goal this season is to score in the 70s so that we WIN something, in any of the awards programs that are out there. We came on strong in May with a 78, 66, 67, 69 and 69 at Training Level.

MORE PHOTOS TO COME!
Behind the scenes photo to come, and maybe if Auntie Faith ever takes us on a trail ride....... Here it is - Auntie Faith working her magic fingers on Izhe's thick, slippery mane. Her results bring us good luck!

News Flash!
Currently the Performance Horse Registry All Breed Award winner has a median of 64.5. So that is what we have to beat! The competition year ends September 30, so lots more horses may qualify. Of course, no matter how we score, we won't know for sure who the winner is until October. Agh!

Izhe's most beautiful braids woven by Auntie Faith for the show! How beautiful! Izhe was great at the show and we scored well, too! Then poor Auntie Faith broke her arm in August on a trail ride, and couldn't braid any more. Guess what, we had to get by with Mom's crummy braids and our scores fell. Ach!

August Show Professional Photos
We earned 67 at Intro C. We still need 70s! (I'm being greedy.)

I fell off when Izhe spooked in the warmup just before our second ride for T3. We tried to continue with our test, but we flubbed up our left lead canter (which has happened during schooling) and the judge rang the bell. I decided to ask to be excused, I was still too flustered to ride our test. So we took the time till our last ride to regroup, and we did ok, earning 64 at T1.

OUR ADVENTURE TO SLIVERWOOD At the end of September, we pilgrimaged to Sliverwood to get our final qualifying score for year end awards. We came home with the high score ribbon for Intro at 75.5!!!!!! After Auntie Faith took out his braids, it looked like he stuck his toe in a light socket!
